Pemenang Kategori Mamalia dan Pemenang Keseluruhan diraih Paolo Della Rocca. “Gambar ini sama sekali tidak mudah didapat. Saya menunggu lebih dari enam jam di tepi ngarai saat kedua saudara kandung beristirahat di gua,” katanya. “Dingin—mencapai -25 derajat dan diintensifkan oleh badai salju—merembes ke dalam tulangku. Ketika ketenangan akhirnya kembali, macan tutul salju mulai bergerak, saling mengejar ke lereng bersalju, bermain di depan mataku yang takjub. Saya ingat berpikir, 'Ini tidak terjadi; itu tidak mungkin nyata!' Dan kemudian, saya menangkap bingkai ini.
