New York - Sampel debu bulan yang dikumpulkan oleh Neil Armstrong pada misi Apollo 11 NASA akan dilelang. Partikel itu ditaksir bernilai sampai Rp 17 milliar.

Penawaran tersebut berisi lima potongan sampel aluminium scanning electron microscope (SEM), di mana empat di antaranya ditutupi oleh partikel sampel debu bulan pertama yang dikumpulkan Neil Amstrong pada Juli 1969.

Bonhams, selaku penyelenggara lelang, mengatakan bahwa potongan sejarah antariksa ini ditaksir dapat bernilai antara 800.000 dolar AS atau setara Rp 11,5 miliar hingga 1,2 juta dolar AS atau setara Rp 17 milliar.
