Salah satu ajang penghargaan game terbesar di dunia, yakni The Game Awards, ternyata sudah beroperasi cukup lama. Lantas, game apa saja yang sukses menyabet gelar Game of the Year selama gelarannya?
Acara yang diinisiasi oleh Geoff Keighley, seorang jurnalis game kawakan, telah bergulir dari tahun 2014. Di dalamnya ia mencoba untuk menyatukan para developer, pemain, dan nama-nama besar untuk bersama-sama menghormati pencapaian mereka di industri game.
Pantauan detikINET dari Twitter, Jumat (24/11/2023), jelang acara The Game Awards 2023, mereka menguraikan deretan game terbaik setiap tahunnya sejak sembilan tahun lalu. Untuk judul-judul yang disebutkan ini tidak akan asing di telinga gamer.

Menariknya lagi ada game buatan Indonesia yang nangkring di kategori Games for Impact. Judulnya ialah A Space for the Unbound, yang akan bersaing dengan Chants of Sennaar, Goodbye Volcano High, TCHIA, Terra Nil, dan Venba.
