Amerika Serikat - Starbase adalah salah satu lokasi peluncuran roket di AS. Fasilitas SpaceX ini berkembang menjadi kompleks industrial yang punya banyak spesialisasi. Yuk lihat.

Situs peluncuran SpaceX Starbase ini berada di Texas Selatan. Tepatnya di Boca Chica, sekitar 32 km (20 mi) timur Brownsville, Texas, Pantai Teluk Amerika Serikat.

Starbase telah berkembang menjadi sebuah kompleks industrial dengan berbagai spesialisasi.

Fasilitas SpaceX ini memiliki banyak lokasi peluncuran, tangki penyimpanan bahan bakar roket, perakitan, tempaj uji dan ratusan karyawan bekerja di sini.

Tempat peluncuran ini awalnya ditujukan hanya untuk menunjang peluncuran kendaraan peluncur Falcon 9 dan Falcon Heavy.

Namun, pada 2018, SpaceX mengubah rencananya dan mengubah fungsi tempat ini menjadi hanya untuk roket Starship. Starbase adalah salah satu dari dua pelabuhan roket di Amerika Serikat yang legal dimiliki perusahaan swasta.

Pada 2019 dan 2020, lokasi ini mulai digunakan untuk aktivitas produksi dan uji coba roket.
