Kominfo Bakal Rilis Chatbot WhatsApp Soal Corona di RI

Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) akan merilis layanan chatbot di WhatsApp. Layanan tersebut disediakan untuk memberikan informasi terkini kepada masyarakat terkait virus corona (COVID-19).

Menurut informasi yang diterima detikINET, chatbot WhatsApp ini juga bertujuan memberikan informasi penanganan pandemi COVID-19.

Saat dikonfirmasi ke Direktur Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika (Dirjen PPI) Kementerian Kominfo Ahmad M Ramli, ia hanya mengatakan bahwa nanti akan ada sesi konferensi pers terkait layanan chat bot di WhatsApp.

"Nanti Pak Menteri (Johnny G Plate) akan konpers (konferensi pers layanan chatbot di WhatsApp)," kata Ramli dalam pesan singkatnya, Senin (16/3/2020).

Saat ditanya lebih lanjut terkait layanan tersebut, Ramli belum menanggapinya lagi.

Sejauh ini, Kominfo aktif menelusuri penyebaran hoax di internet. Terhitung sampai pukul 08.00 WIB, Senin (16/3) Kominfo telah menjaring 232 hoax di dunia maya terkait virus corona.

Untuk diketahui, jumlah orang yang terjangkit virus corona di Indonesia terus bertambah. Per Senin (16/3) pukul 05.00 WIB, juru bicara pemerintah untuk penanganan virus corona, Achmad Yurianto mengatakan, sudah ada 117 orang yang positif COVID-19 di Indonesia.

Data itu diumumkan Yuri pada Minggu (15/3) kemarin. Bila dibandingkan dengan data Sabtu (14/3), jumlah pasien positif COVID-19 meningkat sebanyak 21 orang.
