3 Astronaut China Siap Tinggal 6 Bulan di Luar Angkasa

Astronot Tiongkok dari China Manned Space Agency, kanan ke kiri, Wang Yaping, Zhai Zhigang, dan Ye Guangfu melambai pada konferensi pers di Pusat Peluncuran Satelit Jiuquan, Jiuquan, China, Kamis (14/10) waktu setempat.

Dalam konferensi pers, Badan Antariksa Berawak China (CMSA) mengatakan ketiga astronot akan meluncur pada Sabtu (16/10/2021) pukul 12.23 siang dari pusat peluncuran di gurun Gobi China barat laut.

Wakil direktur CMSA Lin Xiqiang, mengatakan misi tersebut akan mencakup dua hingga tiga perjalanan luar angkasa untuk memasang komponen yang diperlukan dalam pekerjaan konstruksi di masa depan.

Tiga astronot tersebut termasuk komandan Zhai Zhigang (55) mantan pilot pesawat tempur Tentara Pembebasan Rakyat (PLA), yang pada 2008 melakukan perjalanan luar angkasa pertama oleh astronaut China.

Zhai mengatakan tantangan utama bagi para astronot akan mencakup perjalanan ruang angkasa yang lebih kompleks daripada misi sebelumnya. Ini juga akan menghasilkan tekanan fisik dan mental ekstra untuk tinggal di luar angkasa untuk waktu yang lebih lama.

Anggota kru lainnya, Wang Yaping (41), akan menjadi astronot wanita pertama yang mengunjungi stasiun luar angkasa negara itu. Dia sebelumnya menjadi wanita kedua China di luar angkasa pada 2013.
